During an especially bumpy flight, Frasier tells a fellow passenger about his eventful past few weeks, which are recounted in a long flashback. Bebe tells Frasier that he has been offered the chance to replace a recently deceased San Francisco radio host. Frasier declines because he is happy with his life in Seattle. She believes he is just playing hardball, and later approaches him again with an offer of a higher salary and the bonus of a regular morning television gig. Frasier accidentally misses part of his show after engaging in a “matinee” with Charlotte. Kenny fills in for him, and enjoys being on the air so much that he decides to quit his job and go back to being a disc jockey. Frasier’s last dinner with Charlotte before her departure for Chicago is constantly beset with interruptions; including an appearance by Daphne’s brothers Simon, Michael and Stephen, who have dropped in on their sister unexpectedly. Niles worries that his child will turn out like Daphne’s brothers. Frasier finally gets everyone out of the apartment, and he and Charlotte bid each other a sad farewell. Ronee discovers that the hotel believes that her wedding to Martin is to take place on May 15 instead of in July. Martin realizes that he accidentally gave Eddie’s birthday when he booked the hotel, but his Frasier and Niles promise to throw together a great wedding in spite of the short notice. The event is marked by a constant series of calamities. Daphne’s brothers get the flower girl drunk; the air conditioning goes out on a sweltering day; and a mishap with a cannon causes a truck full of spooked cattle to stink up the surrounding area. Niles and Daphne must take Eddie to the veternarian after he accidentally swallows the ring. Daphne goes into labor, and a young vet must deliver the baby.
